[So, there was that horror movie marathon the other night? And Reim was tricked into attending. He had never seen a horror movie before this incident, and he never wants to see one again.]
Are these "horror films" really supposed to be entertaining? They're so [.....] troubling. What a strange custom...

How would one go about forgetting ever seeing any?

That is to say, perhaps there are less disturbing customs with which to occupy one's time...?

I suppose everyday horrors aren't enough.

Some of the largest cities had films in my world, but only the really rich ones. People were working too hard to survive anywhere else.

Interesting prioritizing choice. The pictures. My world hasn't seen fit to waste time on something like that, yet.

It's not like this one at all. I've ascertained that I'm "old-fashioned" by this world's standards, which is of little benefit to anybody.

[Hmm...] Well...it sounds strange to ask, but what was the weather like? Where I'm from, it never rains like it does here.

Mild, I would say... It does rain, and snow in the winter. The temperature ranges from reasonably cold to reasonably hot. Not many areas I'm familiar with have extreme weather conditions.
[... well, he has no future as a meteorologist...]
I hope that was informative. I'm afraid my first instinct is to say "normal," but that isn't much help.
