[Dirk hadn't been in the port all that long, a few hours at the most. He'd gathered as much information as he could from where he could 'till now. Now he was wandering around the tower apartments.

The view from his NV was the view he himself was seeing, it wasn't until he passed a cracked and mirrored sheet of plastic in one of the door frames, that the first view of the boy was sent across the network feed.

Pointed shades, pale skin and sea swept alabaster hair.

The young male turned his head around, touching his neck- as if inspecting it before he moved on.

With a flicker of movement too fast to fully see, the boy was on the roof section of the apartments, giving those watching the network a wonderful view of the city skyline.]

From one shit hole to another... Sky risers and a body of water... A home away from home.

[Clearly Dirk and Jake needed some manly man time together, now that Dirk was back. He'd spar with Jake, teach him some new things about ways to fight and how to avoid getting into a fight with certain monsters. If Jake wasn't willing to learn the beasts he'll be slaying, then Dirk was willing to teach him all about them via scrumming with him.]

Will you also give me that grand tour? There's no need to dawdle now that I'm back.

[ Well Jake will never turn down a good scrum. There's no better way for two young men to bond than to beat the tar out of each other, and he can't wait for the first chance he gets to toss a punch Dirk's way. ]

[So long as he's not expecting to win this rough house, Dirk might be his best friend, would fight and sacrifice almost anything for him, but go easy on him in a fight? Hell no, what would Jake ever learn from being allowed to win?]

How about we do this soon? I'd like to know as much about the area as is possible for you to show me already. The more I know about this place, the better informed I'll be on working out my next move.

[ Jake would be disappointed if Dirk did take it easy on him. He wants to best the man in his own right without him having to pull punches in order for Jake to win. If he's going to come out on top, then it's going to be because of his own fighting prowess!
