I know there are people here who can heal others using their abilities.

I was wondering if I could get some help learning how to do the same? Being my father's son should mean that I have the capability to do that but for some reason I haven't been able to figure it out.

I know that the way that you heal will probably be pretty different than what my dad can do, but if you have any pointers? He wrote something that I was able to find thanks to my aunt but it's not unlocking my potential.

If it helps, the healing power I'm talking about is probably similar to something angelic. Does anyone have any experiences that could help?

Biblical angels were never human, right?

No, we were not. That is a human cultural belief in some areas, in my world.

All angels in your world were human once?

[charmedson]

All Whitelighters were.

Are there angels other than Whitelighters, or are they the only kind of angel in your world?

There are also guardian angels which protect good people but are mostly incorporeal and powerful beings that we call angels like the angels of death and destiny.

The guardian angels you describe are more similar to what we are, but guarding is not our main function.

[It sort of is, since they're supposed to watch humanity, but whatever.]

Beings like Death and Fate are their own types of entities, in my world, separate from angels and gods and others.

They are? The guardian angels don't have the structure that Whitelighters do. Nothing like "up there".

What is the 'structure' like for them?

Sort of a collection of Elders.

The oldest of them lead?

Elders don't really have to be the oldest. They're just... the ones that stick to the rules the best.

That is much like my world as well.

I still don't know whose rules they are.

They may not know themselves.
