† FIVE [voice]
"Porcupine, to a prince," huh? [ Good morning to you, too, Siren's Port. There's a definite smile in Sam's voice, though you can't hear him scrub a hand over his chin, as if he's seriously considering "Chafe-Away." ] Say what you want about this place, but... man. The ads are almost worth it.
[ Sort of sarcasm. He's in a good mood, today. ]
I'm not going to bring up the candy corn stuff. So, now that we're past all that, anyone want to... I dunno, take a walk around the city? I feel like getting out today.

Okay. I'll meet you in ten.
[Good job.]
video;
Fine. [ And he hangs up. Off to pace around the apartment!! ]
video;
Keep this up and you guys are gonna need couples counseling.
Don't forget the leash, Dad.
Re: video;

I thought we were past this.
If Sam wants to date a high maintenance self righteous ice queen that knows some black magic we'll just have to make sure he carries a hex bag.
I don't see any other solution, do you? All you're doing is salting old wounds.
action;
Learn to make private calls. I don't need to hear this.

Are you-- You're kidding, right? That's what you called sticking up for me? Gee, thanks. You're doing me tons of favors here. Be a little more harsh next time, seriously.
[ His nose twitches slightly, as it does when he's ranting. ]
If it was just his damn opinions, I wouldn't bother. Or if he was just ragging on me. But, if he's actively chasing down Prue to give her a hard time, then yeah. I'm going to pick a fight. Because it's none of his business anymore.
action;
He stopped by Stanford. He knew about Jess. He's not the enemy here, dude, he just wants to keep his kid safe. He doesn't want you to get hurt.
action;
JUST
... NOPE.JPEG ]
Something like what I went through with Madison. [ The anger is tangible, released in every heavy breath, the slight baring of his teeth. ] Yeah, like he was there, like he knows what that was like. Look, maybe you believe him about that crap-- you would. But, I know better. It's been this way forever. Black and white, no grey area. That's just--
[ Fucking stupid. He doesn't say it, though, and instead turns on his heel, a hand over his mouth. ]
He's not protecting anything but his own stupid, die-hard stigmas. Old, pathetic generalizations that he can't let go of.
action;
But Dean knows. He knows that John loves them. Because he remembers how consumed with guilt and worry he was when Sam left for Stanford and when they were going toe to toe with Meg.
He wasn't perfect. Far from it, but he'd die before he let either one of them suffer.]
Whatever, man.
[Dean's not going to argue. Not with either of them. It's not worth it. They'll never get it or listen to what he's trying to get across.]
I'll just stay out of it from here on out.

voice;
This might sound "high maintenance" to you, but it matters.
voice; private;
I fell back on what I'm more familiar with.
Trust me, this'll all blow over. This isn't the first time they've been at each other's throats. They'll go toe to toe about anything. You're just the easiest thing to fight about right now.
voice; private;
[Not that she doesn't have her own host of familial issues, but that doesn't mean she necessarily wants to inflict paternal resentment on other people. At all.]
So this is normal for them?
voice; private;
Before Dad died Sam and him would fight about the stupidest stuff. This is actually somethin' more worth while than half the stuff they decide is worth the effort.
Gets old fast.
Re: voice; private;
I don't mean to ask you to get in the middle, but do you think there's any chance your dad even could believe that I'm not that kind of witch?
voice; private;
You might as well throw in the towel now. Dad's hardheaded about anything Supernatural and he taught us everything we know. He's got enough experience under his belt to know most things eventually go wrong. He's not gonna budge.

Time for a walk, motherfucker.]
action;
What?
action;
It's making him edgey.]
You wanted to walk, so let's walk.
action;
Alright. [ And he heads out, away from their door. He sure as Hell isn't about to start this conversation, not when he can guess where it's going. ]
action;
He's also not breaking the silence. If Sam wants to apologize, he can, but until then he's staying quiet.]
