There's a sniper rifle casually slung over his shoulder and he's obviously moving, but his hand is steady enough that it doesn't turn the feed shaky at all.]

Hello everyone, I'm Yukio Okumura and I've been here before— which was a year ago, I believe. I remember everything about this place and I was told then that the Core likes to send people back home and then bring them back here again, but well. It was a difficult concept to grasp then. Not anymore now, I suppose. Does it happen often? And to those it happened to as well, did you remember Siren's Port when you returned home? That's all I wanted to ask.

[ He pauses, about to cut to feed, before he remembers and adds: ]

Oh, and just like before, I offer my services as an exorcist and my medical knowledge to anyone who needs it.

From what I've heard, I'm far from the only one. It certainly is odd that some remember and some don't.

Could be something in how we got here or what we can do. Who knows. Shit like this is never random.

Could be another thing, we might be different temporal versions of the 'alpha' time line. Anyone here is from a branch off into this timeline.

That's what I think too. I find it hard to believe that the Core does anything truly at 'random'.

I'm afraid I know nothing of timelines however. How do you mean?

I mean time is absolute. It's already decided on one course that will flow continuously into the future. The rest are offshoots. [He draws one line in red stretching the length of the page and the rest in varying lengths, those are black.]

Off shoots branch off from key events. Actually, that's not quite right. Any event. every little thing you've done has an offshoot timeline where you did something else. It doesn't mean it keeps going long after that. Usually an offshoot is short. That's why they're called doomed timelines.

I see, that makes sense. It might explain why we don't remember when we return home.

That's what I'm hoping to find out. I have a hard time believing that whatever the Core does is truly random.

It's inconvenient, but it doesn't bother me as much as it did before.

[This is completely preposterous. The Order doesn't have a Branch in Japan, and for good reason. It's never been mentioned once. Unless— this is another thing they've kept secret?

It could be.]

I've never... heard of that city.

[There's a hesitant pause.] Is it a new branch...?
