[ A little girl is weeping. ]

[ She is a doll come to life. Somehow she has acquired Xerxes Break's NV.Because Pandora Hearts is a canon where Important Things get jacked by little girls. ]
Kevin, where are yoooooooou? Has anyone seen him? I told him, please don't go. I said don't leave me!
[ She sobs freely, inconsolable. ]
Help me! I'M ALL ALOOOOOONE!
[ Looooooming behind her is something enormous; only a small part of it is visible on camera. It's metallic, like armor, and red. ]
[ A little girl is weeping. ]

[ More hysterical wailing ]

[ Moment of truth, Keigo: who's more of a little girl here, you or her? ]

[I'm putting off my decision! Because where's Ichigo when you need him?]

[ A pause, while she turns around, her NV displaying the scene. ]
There's grass. And dirt. It's a big field.
[ It's the baseball diamond. ]
[ Video ]
[He lives so close to the baseball diamond he could probably hear her screams if he stuck his head out the window.
He can't do this. He isn't the one who comes in and saves the day.]
I'm on my way!
[But he knows he won't be able to live with himself if he's the reason a little girl doesn't make it.
A pair of shoes and complete ineptitude in opening the door to his apartment because his hands are shaking too much later he's on his way to the field.]
[ Video --> Action ]
[ When he gets to her, the large looming red presence behind her is no longer visible. She's just a tiny little girl, clinging to her doll, weeping. See how easy it is to save the day, Keigo? ]
[ Action ]
Where did it go?!
[ Action ]
But possibly you won't notice, as there's a jubilant little girl running towards you, tiny hands outstretched. ]
You caaaaaame! You did!
[ Action ]
[He really did come running to save someone! Under the terror that the monster could come back at any moment, he's feeling pretty good about himself.]
I did!
[He reaches a hand out to her.]
Let's go back to the apartments. We'll be safe there.
[ Action ]
What's your name, mister?
[ Action ]
He shakes off the feeling to answer her question.]
Keigo. What's yours?
[ Action ]
[ Being fearful doesn't only cause pain for you, Keigo, does it? It means other people have to risk their lives, saving you. And you're really not worth saving, not at all. Right?
You should just. Give up. ]
Have you seen Kevin?
[ Action ]
[He smiles, but it fades quickly when he has to shake his head in the negative.]
No.
[Of course he doesn't have the answer she needs. Since when has he been useful to anyone?]
Do you need me to help you find Kevin?
[Keigo isn't sure why he's offering. He should take her to find someone who could actually help instead of running away crying at the first sign of danger.]
[ Action ]
Isn't there anything you feel particularly responsible for? Some awful failure? ]
Can you find him? Can you? CAN YOU?
[ There's hope lighting her wide, innocent eyes. Don't disappoint her. ]
