First Bite - Video

[in_starvation]

[ The camera snaps on and there's a face that might be familiar to some.

A young woman with wild red hair with bright blue eyes stares at her NV. She glances up in thought as some beast behind her slowly lurks behind her, eyes blazing. A ugly frown appears on her lips and she turns off the NV.

An hour later, she returns, her face a little more passive, and it appears she is indoors. ]

Hi. Looks like the Core isn't done with me yet.

[ Another pause. She looks a little shaken, a little hurt, but mostly angry. ]

I'm sure some of you might remember me, but most of you don't. That's fine, I don't give a fuck either. I want certain things in order, right now.

[ She puts up a finger. ]

One: I want a job. Is Merlotte's still open? Or Fangtasia? They better be.

[ She counts off another finger. ]

Two: I am so fucking done with me not having any fucking showers at night. I work at night, I live at night. Give me a place that has working water during nighttime.

[ She pauses again, this time for dramatic effect. Her face changes into a darkening, terrible scowl and adds a third picture, using the middle finger obviously intended. ]

Three: to all of the vampires back home who are here, I just want to say 'fuck Lillith.'

Fuck her and fuck the rest of you cocksuckers who suck her dick.

And if they aren't any here, then that's just fucking fine with me.

[ She is so pissed. But she cannot deny that her anger is merely a gesture of being heartbroken from how her Maker have been acting.

Maybe in the next two minutes she may have regret saying that, considering that for all she knows, Russell Edginton might be here - but no. He just literally said that he didn't care for two hoots about Lillith. But another believer then. Maybe that wasn't such a smart idea. Or maybe another world's Lillith is here as well.

Whatever. What happens, happens, and she will deal with it as she always have. It's not like she had fucking Bill to hold her hand as she dealt with the bullshit he shoved onto her.

She now puts up four fingers. ]

Four: who ever it was that killed me last time I was here, fuck you with a goddamn rusted spike with mercury on top.

[ Click. ]

There's not much furniture I'm afraid, but we do have some in storage you can go through tomorrow evening if you'd like.

[ She nods at the furniture. ] I appreciate that, thanks. What about rental?

[He leads to the elevator, hitting '3' without touching the button.]

How about we figure it out after you get a job? I prefer not to put people in debt when they first arrive.

[ She enters the elevator and waits for the lift. She doesn't notice him not hitting the button. ]

I'm sure there's an opening for Merlotte's.
