[Today, Luxord has a pair of cards of front of him. They are not, however, anything that would fit in a normal deck of cards. Instead, they're a pair of tarot cards, and it's anyone's guess where he's acquired them from. Those particularly familiar with tarot cards might recognize them as two of the Major Arcana - The Wheel of Fortune and The Tower.]

Quite an eventful set of days, wouldn't you agree? I wonder though, does it only seem that way by misremembering or is there perhaps change in the air after all?

I've not thought to look. It's been quite some time since I last thought to turn to the cards like this.

I'd not be the person to ask such things. A pawn can hardly tell the state of the grander game.

A pawn can still become a Queen if they make the right moves.

So too can a queen be captured, if luck's not with her. The question is which is the better option.

That all depends on the nature of the game one is playing, of course. One cannot count on any one thing for certain. It is essential to plan for every outcome.
