I'm sorry to say that Phoenix Wright is no longer present in this city.

If you had legal dealings with Mr. Wright, I can assure you that you will be looked after and Wright and Co. law offices will be open for business as usual on Monday under new management, but please understand that the office will be temporarily closed until then. I would like to call a brief staff meeting on Friday to discuss the future of the firm.

Mr. Wright is a gifted and talented lawyer, and I would like to assure his clients that I will do my very best to continue to good work he has started and give myself over 100% to representing you should you choose to remain with the firm. If you choose to take your cases elsewhere that is completely understandable and I will take no offense.

[And now for the hard part; keeping up a professional front, hiding behind the veneer of her courtroom poker face to talk business terms, she can do that. Even though it hurts to think that Phoenix has gone, that he's left the business to her and that her life just got a whole lot more complicated, it's this next piece of news that has had her hiding behind text instead of broadcasting her video. [And at the time they eventually designated, she's waiting in the front room of the manor which she eventually gave the address to, waiting for the woman to ring the doorbell.]

[Mia's got dark rings under her eyes from lack of sleep that no amount of make up seems to be able to cover-up, but she's schooled her face into a carefully neutral expression as she makes her way to the manor she's been directed to, carrying the adorable umbrella that Maya had left for her friend. The note is tucked away safely in her handbag.

The building is impressive, and Mia takes a moment to appreciate it before going to ring the doorbell.]

[As soon as she hears the bell ring, she hurries to the door, opening it with a forced smile plastered to her face.]

Hi, Mia! Um, you can come in. Thanks for coming.

[Mia meets the forced smile with one of her own; this isn't going to be easy but for Maya's sake she'll keep herself together and try not to let this upset her.]

Thanks Ahiru. You've got a lovely place here.

Huh? Oh, it's not mine, a few of my friends own it.

[She walks a bit farther in, looking over her shoulder.]

Do you want to go into my room, or stay out here?

I don't mind at all, it's up to you. Wherever you'd feel the most comfortable.

[She takes a moment to look around the interior; whoever Ahiru's friends are, they certainly have grandiose taste in houses.]

My room would probably be better, then, if you don't mind.

[As she leads the woman back to the room, her wonder almost mirrors Mia's; no matter that she's lived in this house for nearly two years now. It never stops being beautiful.]

Not at all, as long as you don't.

[She follows her petite hostess through the house, wondering how anyone could live in a place like this. It looks like something out of a movie set.]

[Her room isn't any different, once they reach it; though more feminine and personalized than the rest of the house, it's still lavish and elegant. As soon as the door is opened, a kitten comes rushing towards Mia's ankle, batting at her leg with a paw before she's scooped up by the other girl.]

Sorry about her. Um, you can sit down if you want to.

Oh I don't mind at all, I'm something of a cat person actually.

[And wouldn't Diego get a kick out of hearing her say that?]

With the number of times I'm accosted by my boyfriend's cat, it would be awkward if I wasn't. Hi, pretty girl.
