[Prue looks less than stellar- eyes slightly rimmed with red, makeup just barely smudged enough to indicate that she was probably crying a while ago, or came close recently. She's frustrated and has a small smear of ash on one cheek.]

Does anyone have any experience with their magic or- or powers from home not working right here?

I can't make any spell work. I've tried everything I can, and almost nothing I've done since I came here has done anything but almost destroy my ceiling.

[She makes an almost painfully frustrated noise in her throat, teeth on edge and eyes watering angrily.]

This is ridiculous, I'm stronger than this.

I've had no such trouble since arriving in Siren's Port. Any magical mishaps I've experienced have been due, I'm ashamed to admit, to my own over-exuberance or distraction.

Do your powers draw on any elements specific to your home world, such as ley lines?

Uh.... [She runs a hand through her hair almost distractedly.] I don't know, I guess it's the Power of Three that does it. I have to make do because without my sisters my magic isn't as strong.

I understand this type of magical amplification as a member of THE ORDER OF THE TRIAD.

[He trails off and almost seems to be speaking to himself.]

Although, it's more of a symbolic amplification since there's not much an alchemist and a blackula hunter can do to enhance my ability to tap into the dark recesses of the world beyond the veil.

You're using necromancy for something good? Forgive me if it's different where you come from, but as far as I know necromancy is inherently evil.

When used responsibly, necromancy is no more evil than any other magical discipline. Just because we have the ability to manipulate the soul does not mean we all go around calling back the dead on a whim.

You don't find anything inherently wrong with manipulating a human soul? There are other ways to do things.

I can't imagine how you can call on enough power to use it for something special without doing something evil.

It is the manipulation of the soul that most consider evil. But I can assure you that I have left no mountains of slaughtered goats in my wake or anything of the sort.

So what can you do that isn't soul manipulation?

[dr_orpheus]

I can of course do the essentials like simple levitation. Astral projection. I can delve into the mind to search your memories or wipe some pesky detail from its recesses.

[Like when he erased his daughter's memories of the doorway to the Necropolis in her closet.]
