003: Video

[It's after the night siren and Bruce is looking frazzled, irritated, and... like he forgot that he'd been getting ready to sleep, since he's wearing boxers and glasses and apparently nothing else. As he settles his NV, a pair of mice skitter across the desk he's set it on. There are little movements in the background and Bruce has to stop and hop around, cursing under his breath as something apparently runs over his foot.]

Okay, look, the Darkness thing I'm up on, but is it common for random objects like, say, my pillow to turn into mice?

[And he's legitimately concerned, but not so concerned that he doesn't lean in and lightly press his lips to hers for a kiss that is far more affectionate than passionate.]

[And she can tell, and doesn't mind one bit. Passion was something she had reserved for battle for the past few thousand years, and she planned to do so for the foreseeable future. But that doesn't stop her from being an awful person and flicking her tongue just so gently against his lips before pulling back.]

[And she's out the door in a blink.]

[Bruce is taken aback in that blink, tongue tip coming out to trace his lower lip before he shakes himself into motion to go and lock the front door.]

Good night. [Said aloud to no one before he retreats to his room. What he needs is a cold shower, but that's not going to be happening until dawn. Damn.]
