[Hiccup is busy. It's not often one gets to see him so engrossed in doing things. He appears to be threading something together, maybe even reinforcing the edge of the saddle that usually stays on the dragon's back. As a few more stitches are made, he stops, checking over his work.

It's not long before the Viking boy will find himself with company. A large black shape slinks in behind him, large green eyes glancing over at the NV-rock before the dragon peers over at Hiccup.

The boy doesn't appear to notice, muttering to himself as he goes back to sewing.

Toothless peers over his arm for a few seconds, then pulls back. It's not long before he does so again, this time having come around the other side.

Without looking up, Hiccup wrinkles his nose.]

Toothless– hey. What are you–

[Green eyes glance to one side, then the other.]

–I'm sorta in the middle of finishing this–

[Big green eyes stare at him a moment before Toothless pulls his head back again. Maybe he's leaving Hiccup alone to finish up?

Seconds pass as Hiccup blinks, checking either side once more. Although slightly puzzled, he eases himself back into his sewing.]

...Okay. Good boy.

[It's several minutes before the dragon reappears. This time he settles his chin over Hiccup's head. From here he watches a while, and it becomes apparent just how comfortable he's gotten as he yawns and closes his eyes.

And as Hiccup finds himself hunched under the weight of the dragon's head, he sighs. This makes sewing impossible.]

[Oh hey, Loki. Sup.]

Uh, yeah, he is. This is Toothless. He sometimes escapes the apartment on his own.

Why call him Toothless? Has he no teeth? That seems far less than frightening in a dragon.

Oh no, they're there. It just looks like he doesn't have any teeth! He brings them out when it's necessary.

[Opening his eyes, Toothless tilts his head (still atop Hiccup's) just enough to peer over at the NV.]

That is a disarming name, then. Rather clever if one wishes to fool one's enemies.

So he is a tame dragon? [He's just going to peer right back at you, Toothless. Because people do not tend to keep dragons as friends where he is from.]

[summing_it_up]

[He reaches up to pat the side of Toothless' face.]

Hah, yeah. But I wouldn't say he's that tame. I think you just have to be careful and patient with him.

[b2_dragon]

[The dragon croons, pleased by pattings. Okay, he'll get off your head now, Hiccup.

Pardon the nose that takes up the screen for a moment, Loki.]

And you are the one that first forged this ... dragon and human bond?

[Hiccup takes a breath as he rolls his shoulders back. Good, he can feel his neck again.]

Uuh...well. [He tries to get Toothless' nose away from the rock NV.] Yeah. Yeah, I did.

[Snorting, Toothless pulls back from the NV. With a yawn, he moves around behind Hiccup again, settling down on the floor.]
