[The baseball field. A rather mundane sight for many NV network entries. This time, however, the camera seems rather adamantly set on the ground somewhere out around the pitcher's mound. Some brushing and nudging noises against the microphone seem to indicate someone try to move it, but they aren't having much success.

A small black cat with a red bandana tied around his neck appears in the frame. He, it seems, is the one so busily messing with the bulky NV. With an annoying yowl he sits down in the dirt.

Then he speaks. His mouth doesn't move but the sound of a voice is unmistakeable. And furthermore, the voice will sound quite familiar to many people. After all, it once was only a voice, no body, no form, no nothing.]

Well. Never mind then.

[Now he looks up into the camera.]

Hello Siren's Port. It's me, Sissel.

I, uh... figured a few things out while I was gone.

Yes. I haven't needed them nearly as much living with Detective Jowd, but it's nice to have them just in case.

[He's not talking to Hitsugaya, there.]

[The kitten swishes her tail contentedly. And Hitsugaya blinks for a second before he realizes that she's who Sissel is talking to.]

Her name's Yuki. [Though Yuki herself might indicate that when "Mom" was here, she'd called her Shirou-chan sometimes.]

Or Shirou-chan, huh? Which do you prefer?

[His tail swishes just like hers, and he purrs under his breath.]

Nice to meet you, Yuki.

[... Damn it. Of course Sissel can talk to cats.] We don't call her Shirou-chan.

[And Yuki purrs a little herself. And calling her Shirou-chan seems to stress Little Dad out for some reason, so all things considered, she finds Yuki to be the way to go. It's better when Little Dad isn't stressed.]

[Humans are weird that way, he replies to Yuki. Yomiel was very stressed out when Sissel first went to live with Jowd's family, but after they continued to call him Sissel, he was much happier about it.]

So did I miss anything big while I was gone?

[Mom would call him that, too. He never seemed to like that, either.]

Nothing of importance. It's only been around a week since the incident at the house.

Really? Wow... it seems like it's been much longer. But I guess it's really only been one night for me.

[He tilts his head curiously.]

[Seemingly satisfied with the meeting, Yuki . . . jumps onto Hitsugaya's head, and looks about ready to lie down there.]

Like I said. Time is weird, especially when you can travel through it.

[Yeah, he's not letting Yuki sleep up there. No matter how much she seems to love it. He reaches up and gently plucks her off his head and sets her in his lap.

[Aw, but it's so fluffy up there! But she curls up in his lap after a little mew of protest. She'll just lie on his hair after he goes to sleep. She always does.]
