001: Video
[The characteristic reiatsu emanating from the field is probably enough of a giveaway of who has recently arrived for those who are particularly attuned to detecting it. It precedes the post by about half an hour.
The denizens of Siren's Port are treated to an nondescript view of fences, and then a person whose pallor is a far too anemic to be considered healthy or even compatible with life. Ulquiorra frowns as if to preemptively dissuade unnecessary discussion, and he speaks in a tone all at once dryly thankless and vaguely threatening. Even as he asks for information, the act distinctly comes across as an order.]
It would be wise if somebody were to inform me of where I am, and who is responsible for bringing me here. The trash from SERO, and AGI were most uninformative.
[After that pleasantry, the tone levels off into a much more business like demeanor.]
Should the other Espada be present, we have much to discuss.

Two years.
[And back to imperious.]
You will explain to me what transpired.

[He doesn't know how much else to go into, doesn't want to go into the mess with the Fullbringers and the way that desperation had led him to make stupid choices that had endangered his family and his friends. But... if anyone deserves answers it's Ulquiorra. Ichigo feels he owes him that much as least, considering everything.]
I don't know what happened in Hueco Mundo since then; that blonde lady went back with her Fraccion and whoever was left. Kaname Tousen and Ichimaru Gin died. Aizen merged with the Hougyoku, and Urahara-san and I defeated him. Everyone who went to Hueco Mundo with me made it safely home.
[He waits for a moment, and then picks his words carefully.]
As far as I'm concerned, that's the end of it.

None of this matters any more. Ulquiorra's usefulness to Aizen has ended with his defeat. His purpose obliterated, along with his body. He opens his eyes when he speaks again, his tone is a shade bitterer than it had been previously.]
The end.
What is this then, Kurosaki Ichigo?
video
[He shrugs, because there's way, way more to it than that, but this is just for starters.]
And we're stuck here until someone figures out a way to get this Core thing to work for them. No one knows why we got dragged here, we just know what did it and it can't be undone.
[And then he tentatively approaches The Thing.]
I guess I don't need to tell you it brings the dead back to life, huh.

[Any truly difficult jumps in the suspension of disbelief had already been crossed the moment Ulquiorra opened his eyes and woke up alive. His existence itself had been an impossibility. His inclinations to scoff at Ichigo Kurosaki's imagination have already been dulled down significantly. After all, it is entirely arbitrary and nonsensical to dismiss one impossibility and embrace another. Regardless, his expression does not become any less harsh, as Kurosaki explains.]
Canada. [His tone is healthily incredulous.] The human world, then. [Naturally, he assumes Ichigo has a degree of familiarity with it, by virtue of his species and the four months he's apparently spent here.]
What have you done here.
