[Anyone who knows and talks to Mary knows that she doesn't really like texting. So the fact that this is text- it's unusual.]

Dean Winchester is gone from Siren's Port. He disappeared earlier today.

[ Sounds good to him, too. Bobby doesn't bother texting back because he's employing pragmatism. He said he'd be there, so it stands to reason that he'll actually show up. Which he does not too long after the message.

And ohh, is the good whiskey ever in tow. ]

[She only just manages to look up when he arrives, not able to get out a smile. Just a tired look.]

Hey. You brought the good stuff, huh?

[ He nods in greeting, not much for smiling himself, circumstances given and all. Probably wouldn't be without the circumstances, but that's neither here nor there. Bobby comes armed with a bottle of whiskey and plenty of time to spare. ]

[Mary scoots over so he can sit, then looks over once he does.]

I'm trying really hard not to get maudlin and stupid about this.

[ He sits with a grunt and sets the bottle down between them. ]

Worse comes to worst, at least you can say that much. Never could stand an idjit who dove straight into the pity party. [ They're harder to catch and drag back into the boundaries of common sense. ]

[She goes straight for the bottle, taking the first (very deep) swig.]

Don't put it in "when"s. You spend all your time thinkin' about the maybe whens, it just leads to trouble. [ Spend more time thinking about your chalk symbols, holy water and panic rooms. Safe-staying ways. They're incredibly handy. ]

Well, there's nothing I can do about it, so there's no physical harm. I'm not gonna hare off and do something ridiculous to try and fight fate. I'm tired of that.
