[There's a dark-haired woman who may or may not be familiar to some sitting in Mary's living room. One archangel has been drafted Mary's babysitter bodyguard and Michael tends to hang around the Winchester mama as a woman. In "Mikaela's" lap is a thick book which she seems almost done with.]

The locals have gotten a little ansty lately to pull this latest stunt, honestly I'm not all that surprised. Humanity has been at odds with itself for a long time. It's a bit...sad to see.

[She closes the book and puts it onto a nearby coffee table.]

To all of the new arrivals, welcome to Canada. Best get inside before the sirens go off.

I'm a friend of Mary's and I'd like to offer my services in your time of need. My powers allow me to take away the pain without removing the damage for any who might want to go to the police and have evidence to show for it. I can also heal any injury to appear like it never happened, which is an offer that will remain open indefinitely. I'm glad you agree. [Because Lucifer doesn't have a half-dozen plans going at all times, right?]

Is Mary able to leave the house yet, or does John have her locked in a closet?

[Michael has plans...they just aren't like the last one he tried to go through with. No big ending, just plans to do this or that while winging it.]

If it was up to him she'd be inside but I just sat here as she rushed out to see Sam. I had to help her to sleep after that.

[Oh, Sam. Lucifer could take up where they'd left off, but...well that's a lot of effort for one trainwreck. And more importantly it would stir up a storm he doesn't need to deal with right now.]

Well, good. We'll let her sleep her woes away while we go out on the town.

[This one would be so easy to troll though, Lucifer. He just came off the tail-end of seeing you in his dreams.]

Will there be alcohol on our little adventure?

[If "Mikaela" finds out then she'll tell him. As it is she knows that Sam knows about them both at least. She has to think about that.]

After playing guidance counselor I could use a drink or two.

Well, I'll find a chariot and come get you, then.

[By which he means he'll just show up outside and wait for her. He's just feeling rambunctious today.]

There better be horses that breathe fire.

[She sounds completely serious. Mikaela "zaps" out of Mary's apartment, appearing next to him.]

Sorry, I fed the horses to the cubs.

[He grins, and motions.]

Liquor first?

In that case we'll just have to take them out for an extra hour of exercise.

[That seemingly small and delicate hand into Lucifer's before tugging him into the ethereal plane with her.]

Liquor first. [When they step out lights flicker on to reveal that they're standing behind a very classy bar. Leather couches and chairs lay beyond the bar but there's no one in the building. She grabs a bottle off the shelf and leads the way to one of the large couches to sit down on, still keeping Lucifer's hand in hers.]

I've had Zachariah working on this place since after the guilt plague.

[He normally has such a hard time sitting still, but here it's easier. Something Michael had been working on? Something she had planned out, piece by piece? Lucifer has never seen such a thing.]

Is it going to be an angel lounge for us?

[Pops the top off of the bottle with ease and taking a long drink before holding it out to Lucifer.]

Not this one. That's on the top floor. This is my new business, an AGI Gentleman's Club.

[There's a glint in her eyes and a smirk on her face that just screams it's a naughty club. A business that makes money but that she doesn't actually be around to do, meaning she has more free time.]

You're encouraging the naughty monkeys.

[Lucifer is so pleased. He takes a victory sip, then another longer drink, and hands it back.]

Does this mean I won't have to sit around the docks pining away while you work?

We did say that we were going to investigate the companies. The dock, the odd job to fix the Darkness-infested cable were merely stepping stones to the top. This club will cater to only the best, loosen their tongues, pants and wallets.

[Sure, he's pleased now but Mikaela will spend the occasional night on some guy's arm, prying information out of his head.]

And I won't have to turn a blind eye when Erik goes to collect supplies.

[Yes, he'll flip his lid when he finds out. So hopefully he won't. Pointing out the hypocrisy won't help, of course.]

He still appreciates that you did that.

[It's not as if Mikaela has to sleep with them. She'll put them to sleep before they get too handsy and give them pleasant memories instead. For now though she puts her bare legs in Lucifer's lap and lays back on the couch - yeah, enjoy the thigh-length dress she's wearing. Takes a drink and balances the bottle on her stomach.]

The company has the money to replace it easily enough. I try to think of it like...charity

Charity? [A grape-scented marker appears in his hand, and he begins drawing vines up the inside of her leg. Because yes, he does rather enjoy that dress; he never gets to draw on Michael normally.] Is that...charity by giving entertainment to rich humans?

[Her toes wiggle the sandals off her feet so the land on the floor with a plop. As for what Lucifer's doing, well, it's rather hard to look away from it and she wouldn't even care if it was permanent.]

No, this business is a rescue. I'm giving each and every one of my so-called slaves a chance to work to earn money until they have enough to survive in the city. When they go I'll buy more and do the same with them.

[thelightbringer]

[He draws an intricate leaf on her ankle, with curling vines down the sole of her foot.]

Huh. You know, AGI won't even find that against company 'policy'.

[It's a good idea. Not one Lucifer cares a whit about because they're just humans, but still, a good idea. And it's always rewarding to see Michael's mind at work.]

[She feels a tickling sensation building and Mikaela easily pushes it away but not after biting her lower lip.]

They're my "slaves", I bought them fair and square so it wouldn't even matter if they approve or not.

[Which is exactly why she started off telling him about how it would benefit their knowledge of the company.]

[He notices. Nick had ticklish spots, which Lucifer doesn't acknowledge. And yet it's strangely funny to look at her as the felt-tip runs over her bare foot. Less funny when she, like Lucifer, simply takes control of the sensation, though. He goes back to drawing.]

How many do you have now?

[He'll also notice that every now and then the look returns, as if Michael stops controlling it - because she is. She's trying to decide if she likes it or not, plus she's teasing him.]

Ten women, eight men and four children who will merely be here to clean up.

What a clever little set up. Wherever they go when they're free, they'll still owe you.

[All right. Lucifer approves. This is way easier networking than what he's doing through Sam Merlotte's connections.

He deliberately draws up behind her knee, where Nick is most ticklish, to see her reaction.]
