He is surprised, though, to hear that it was the boy who had the powers, who was showing signs of the supernatural. Obviously, he wasn't a bad kid, if they'd visited and... well, he was still alive. Sam remembers his own past, just a few years prior when he had started showing signs of his own abilities. ]
