[ Despite looking far worse than she did the last time she appeared over the network, Integra looks, at the least, determined. She's sitting up in a chair this time around, not in bed, and she's dressed in her suit -- it's somewhat wrinkled, mind you, considering it took her every ounce of energy she had to get the stupid thing on.

With a shaky hand, the young heiress lifts a teacup from her nightstand; a dead give away that she's quarantined herself to her room, still. Using her other hand to steady it, she takes a small sip to wet her throat before speaking.

Her voice is gravely and hoarse, it's obvious she's having a hard time speaking. ]

I am in need of someone who can draw up a last will. If I am to die in this bloody place, I'm going to be legal. I don't have many things, I can assure you... so it will be quite simple. This is, naturally, assuming I die.

[ Because she sure as shit feels like it. ]

I don't want to do anything in person, naturally, I wouldn't want to infect anyone else. So if anyone knows of a good attorney or someone along those lines, if they would so kindly direct them my way... thank you.

Of course. My job is potentially dangerous to my health, you see... and at home, I've much to leave behind, but most of it is for legalities and the such.

That's crazy! I'm sixteen and even I haven't written one of those things!

That's good, then. Most people don't until they are much, much older.

How come they put you in charge when you were so little?

Because when I was twelve years old, my father passed away. I took his place, then.

A heavy pause on the line. Then Sora sags a little. That's just awful. Nobody should lose a mom or a dad that young.]

Why would you be sorry? Everything happens for a reason, and it's not all bad. I enjoy my job.

It isn't an easy thing, no. I never knew my mother, so I suppose I was lucky to have to endure the pain of losing just my father.

No, I wasn't, and I'm still not. [ A brow lifts. ] But I had training for all of that... not much frightens me anymore, including the concept of death.

Integra tilts her head, suddenly looking far more amused than she should. ] That's a sweet gesture, but I'm a bit too old for treehouses, don't you think?

You're never too old for treehouses! Same for ice cream, playing pretend and playing games.

Maybe you were too busy for that stuff at home, but you're here in Siren's Port now. You can do anything you want.

Except that I am, and my position doesn't allow for such things. [ A pause. ] Except for ice cream.

...Perhaps, but it isn't in my nature to do things like that. I still have a duty to protect the people first and foremost, even here.

[That's pretty admirable, and Sora's expression shows a bit of understanding or admiration.]

You can protect people and have ice cream too... can't you?
