In a strange report coming from the city’s mental hospital, all patients at St. Teresa’s Sanatorium have collectively and seemingly overnight begun refusing to talk with their doctors and therapists, communicating with one another in a ‘secret language’ which consists entirely of doglike barks, whines and growls. The baffled medical director is unsure what has caused this abrupt shift in patient behavior throughout the institution, and has called in several specialists to study the phenomenon.
- City Fairgrounds is still seeking volunteer creative teams with “A Flair for Scare”, to concept and carry out original walkthrough Haunted Houses for this year’s Halloween Festival starting on the 20th of October in Sector 5. The event’s coordinator found himself short handed this year after announcing plans for interactive horror entertainment, when the Sanguinarian Society abruptly withdrew funding.
Spookers with experience in set design, lighting, costuming and monster makeup are in high demand, as well as volunteer actors to frighten guests! This is a great way to showcase your creative talents, put a unique twist on seasonal themes and participate in one of the busiest community festivals of the year. Haunted House creative teams may opt to charge a small ticketed admission fee to fundraise for any non-profit organization or charitable cause.
