[This starts out as voice, though it's obvious Soma's regretting that choice. He sounds really raspy, and his voice can barely get above a whisper.]

[And this is the point where he gives up on the whole talking thing.]

I haven't been feeling well. I think I caught that flu going around. I'm going to be out of school for a few days, and I'll keep myself to my room so I don't infect anyone else in the house.

It's pleasant, more or less, especially if you ignore how Alucard seems to enjoy being purposefully creepy.

...I see. Does that happen often? What triggers them from going out of your control? Forgive my questions, but I am curious.

It's fine.

It doesn't happen often at all; I have to be really stressed and there needs to be a lot of Darkness around, and even then it's not a guarantee. I make a point not to go out at night here if I can help it.

Mr. Arikado probably has a better understanding of it. Thankfully he's here now, so maybe he can help.

But he did help me when I needed help the most, so I can't say he completely annoys me.

[ Not that she has. If anything, over the years she's grown colder, but being here has definitely... mellowed her somewhat. There's no war, no Major... there's not a lot to worry about. ]
