While being told that there are monsters that roam in the dark is alarming, being told that it is 2012 is even more so.

I would like a better explanation than the one I was given.

Why's everybody always so surprised about the year?

The darkness isn't a problem if you know to be in before Siren, or you can handle the monsters. This guy Darwin wrote a guide- you can find iteasy on the network, if you run a search.

Haven't you ever wondered what it was like, the world, before you existed? Anyway, this world's different from the place you were before, probably. If you ever go home, I think you'll go back to the same place you left. At least, that's what I've heard from people who've been pulled back and forth before.
