half the reason Arikado is giving you the look is because everyone he's spoken to said there are monsters here, and he doesn't for a second believe you've kept yourself out of trouble. ergo, he /knows/ that your powers may come up to protect yourself...and if they haven't yet, they will. soon.]

I don't know if the darkness monsters would be compatible. I'm not even sure if they have souls.

I wouldn't suggest trying. It may be that any attempt at dominating them would stir the darker parts of your own soul.
