The Newcomer Community Centre tends to be the best bet. Although they have have some at the Newcomer Apartments as well.

What's told the a person when they arrive is just enough to calm them down.

Most proceed to the Apartments right afterward and may find more information when they get there.

There is, however, no information on a sure method to get home.

A sure method of leaving? No.

However, many people have left before. And there are a good number who have come back to confirm that they had indeed been sent back home.

But nothing reliable. Hm.

No. Not even death. Many get brought back by the Core as well. Those who leave and return have no memory of how they managed to get away, or whether is had been purely on the whim of a power we know little about.

What information is there on the 'Core'?

It's been bringing people from all worlds and timelines for years, although only recently discovered a year ago underneath the field where Newcomers appear.

There had been an attempt to record data from it, but that attempt backfired. [It's been a really long time. He can't remember what happened exactly.] So now it's under government control.

No one knows yet what is truly is or what it can do. If it has any sentience or whether it's just a malfunction. There's not much that can be done to test it at the moment.

The local government, yes. It used to be under the control of one of the companies here, but that didn't last long.

Businesses cycle quickly.

I'm afraid that's no my area of expertise by any means.

Again, the Newcomer Community Centre would provide information on that. I hear they're going to try and get their own political party soon.

Which is why, I imagine, they have those pamphlets you mentioned.

Yes. They were designed well over a year ago in an attempt to answer whatever questions they could in one go. I believe a survey had been taken on what Newcomers sought to know when they first arrived.

If the answers aren't in the pamphlet, there's a good chance no one knows it yet.

I'll be certain to acquire one.
