Vampirism isn't -- new to me. Besides, what world doesn't have countless stories about the specifics of different forms of vampirism? Earth's China has a unique set of mythos from European nations, or those from other worlds.

That's true, I've yet to meet anyone who hasn't heard of vampire full stop.

I have to say, we have stories about ninja's in my world but they're not like anyone I've met from yours and Shika's. [Which pretty much amounts to... Sakura and Shika, cough. Also Hidan but she can't remember his name.]

We tend to defy preconceptions. It helps when most renditions people know of are fairly simple, or simplistic.
