[Amy is at her piano today, not playing, but she seems to be looking longingly at the keys. Since it's daytime, her manner is sluggish-- as if she stayed up all night, when in truth she didn't.]

People come and go often in this place. I've seen so much of it that it doesn't faze me that much. It seems that there are many new voices on the network, however. It would be a pleasure to make new acquaintances when possible.

I would not mind hearing from those I have met before as well. I apologize for my silence. Things have been rough at the library where I work in.

Unfortunately, it was more of an issue of a few narcolepsy incidents while I was working over the past few weeks. I think I am paler than usual as well.

It is not bound to happen where I work. But a librarian scolding you sternly is something truly possible. I have a feeling this has to do with how little blood I have been able to drink as of late.

It's difficult to speak about it when there's no clear trace of where it stems from. It simply... happened.

[After a moment, Davesprite moves in front of the living room mirror and switches on the video feed. Have a slightly concerned-looking bird boy.]

Is it a problem? Medically? I mean, do you think you're coming down with something, is it like a vampire cold?

[Amy is quite surprised by the sight before her. For a while, she was expecting Davesprite to be like Kanaya or Terezi: gray skin, horns, and the like... or something like Rose: a typical human being. But she never expected a totally orange bird boy.

Her mind briefly flashes back to when Rose was telling her about how "motherly" Davesprite could be.]

That might be a possibility. I rarely become ill, though. But in my stay here in the port, the only time I actually saw a doctor was only to steal blood from their blood bank.

[He looks aside for a second, thinking, then turns to the mirror again and lowers his voice a bit.]

If it is more like an eating disorder thing, I know someone you could talk to, I guess. She knows her way around all kinds of psychological shit.

She'll pick your brain apart even if you don't let her, but she'd probably cream herself for a chance to actually use her psychospeak for real. And also I guess she's like a cheat code to life or something now.

Hm. I should look into those books, if she likes them. We have them in the library, but I've never taken the time to peruse them.

They're classics or something where we're from. I never really read them, though. I'm not even sure the version I looked at was the real deal, it was just sitting in her dream library.
