[ The video turns on to a rather preoccupied looking Ella at home, resting her chin in her hands. She's been working her tail off on behalf of Hattie which in turn made her flake on Byakuya and she hated it. But that's not why she looked distracted. ]

Or even something minor, actually. Just - something. But you can't for the life of you remember what that is?

[ Beat. ]

Er ... Excluding those who ...actually have amnesia. I mean things like forgetting appointments, or where you left a brush or something.

[ Like why in the he-ck she was cooperating with Hattie's stupid business and ignoring her duties to her actual job. She KNOWS Hattie is deliberatly picking clients who want the same timeslot she's supposed to work for him. ]

Oh this is going to bother me all day, heh. I guess I could write down a list of- [ She glances at her calendar briefly, then pauses and looks again. ]

Oh.

[ Awkward pause, and then a laugh. ]

Well that's one mystery solved. [ She's ... just going to turn her feed off now. Eesh. ]

[Of course Byakuya told Hitsugaya. They are both friends of the girl, and he is honorbound not to withhold such information. That's petty and far beneath him. He'd been hoping that Ella-san would arrive today so he could present them himself, however, since she didn't, he sent them through a courier.

Included in the gifts: A small tea blend - something light, fruity, and refreshing to be drunk cold or hot, depending on her preference; several books of poetry - Samurai death poems, with attached history, Robert Frost, and Lord Byron; a stuffed Wakame Ambassador made of a soft green material with a very pretty red shawl around it's shoulders; and finally a birthday card, homemade, wishing her a peaceful and joyous day - written in Byakuya's fancy calligraphy hand - with a drawing of the Wakame Ambassador on front.

[ She feels bad about not being able to go in to work today. Flaking is the worst thing ever. :< But everytime she tried going to the university, she found herself turning around and going back home, or going to whatever appointment Hattie made for her.

She'd been considered he was angry with her after the last conversation they had, so the presents are a pleasant surprise. By the time she spies the Wakame Ambassador, she's grinning. And when she sees the plushie, she just starts /laughing/, because that thing. What is it even. Everything was wonderful, but the Wakame Ambassador. So SILLY Byakuya. ]

Donald and Goofy used to remember all this stuff when we were traveling together, but now that I'm on my own, I've gotta do it myself. [A chuckle.]

Sometimes when I've forgotten something important, I'll make myself busy doing other things. Sometimes it'll pop right up when you least expect it! Riku also said I should get a planner or something, but... [He scrunches up his nose. It's obvious that's not really his style.]

Other times, you gotta feel around for it. Think about what it feels like, or how you were feeling when the memory happened. If it's really important, or something you feel really strongly about, it'll come back one way or another!

[Probably... not too helpful. But he looks pretty excited to offer the tips anyway.]

A planner, huh? I could try that - and you're right, if I distract myself with something whatever I forgot will probably come back to me. [ Or not. ]

I'm not sure if feeling for it will help much though - I don't remember what the memory was, so I'm not sure how I felt. [ ... If it was related to her curse, then ... frustration probably. ]

I've been alright, thank you. I've tried a few, but they came out... a little less than desirable... [How she managed to burn through a meatloaf completely is beyond her.]
