[Angeal is stricken, which is honestly not surprising. He's managed to keep it together though the night after getting the call. A man of war, you often just forgo feelings when it is convenient to in order to push though, a strategy almost recommended if one wants to survive.

He's letting himself have that moment of letting all those emotions escape now, back in the safety of his home. It's a half hour or so before noon, and when he reaches for his NV to make a call. Which mean,s unfortunately, you don't have a very good view in this post, except for one moment where he pulls the NV to him, and two of the exact same sword can be seen over his shoulder. One charred, plastic melted onto it, and the other in pristine condition.

He doesn't feel like he can carry either of them.]

[A long pause, and his voice is clearly restrained.] And I think we need to investigate.

[Silently, Genesis accepts it. If this was the degradation, he would have gone out in full anger against anyone or anything that hinted their involvement in the incident. But he's had too much of rage and overwhelming emotions in the past week.

It was probably because of this that Genesis deals with this quietly for a change.]

We'll have to gather friends.

[They never did things on a small scale, after all.]

[His fingers grip hard over Genesis' own. The other knows what he means. If something happens...]

[He smirks. After all, that was part of why his Genesis war had held out so well against ShinRa's forces.]

[He knows, but at the same time, the words just don't help. Angeal half turns so that he can pull Genesis closer to himself, not caring that they were in the kitchen at the moment.]

[The movement pulls Genesis into a close and intimate embrace, his body pressed close against the other. Quietly, his fingers curl around Angeal's shirt, as if understanding this need for intimacy, reassurance, safety.]

The world will not be rid of me so easily.

[mentors]

I won't let it. [Maybe Genesis knows the lengths he went though to go after the other, before, maybe he doesn't, but Angeal knows that if anything ever happened to him or Sephiroth, or any of those he considered close friends...

It was hard enough as it was to hold himself back, now.]
