[Filter: Crowley and Elaine]

[Christina sounds panicked, her voice a little choked, like she's been crying. And you'd cry too if you realized that all the chaos around the city is your fault.]

It's happening again. It's me. I'm the one doing this to the island. It's all me. [Her breath hitches.] I need your help.

[Sometime later, the following message comes through the Teen Titans communicators....]

[T-Communicator Message; Filtered to all members of the Teen Titans]

The weird crap that's been happening the last week? It's my fault. I-I can't really explain it, but my powers... They can make people act on impulses and I don't even have to want it. It just happens.

So yeah... I guess the only thing now is figure out a way to make it stop.

[And she's wondering, honestly, how many responses will be in the vein of JUST KILL HER. It's what she expects, but she's trying to have faith.]

I'm calm! I promise, I'm calm. If I wasn't calm... I... Yeah, it would be bad. [She looks something akin to the opposite of calm, but she's slowly starting to get there.] I'm so sorry. I thought I had control over it. I didn't even realize until now.

You sounded a little panicked, so I was worried. [Elaine sounds serene, hopefully to try to calm her.] I know. Look I used to cause a lot of trouble when I didn't realize how to control my power -- It's hard sometimes.

[Nervous laughter] Did I? [She clears her throat.] ...Really? I mean, your powers are, like, the opposite of mine. Or should be.

A little. Don't worry. Mm, I can do what you can do if I want to. God isn't supposed to have an opposite, we're speaking about absolutes.

[She elaborates. No sins, no virtues, a transcendental might.]

I mean when I was younger -- Still an archangel -- and I got angry, the world around me morphed and suffered. I had to keep my emotions in check. It helped me for the future. Power is controlled by your will. Lucifer encouraged me to focus on my willpower.

That's... That's what happened with me.

[She can't believe it. She saw Elaine as an ideal for her possible future, but never really grasped that Elaine, being the child of Michael, and her, being the child of Lucifer, could have such similar abilities, but it does make sense. Boyd even told her that she could be good, but she wouldn't, because good couldn't survive in a world that would always be cruel to her.]

So it's true. I'm not just damned. I really could get control over it, use it for something other than pointless destruction.

I thought so -- You need to learn to be more confident to control your powers.

[Elaine remarks. Hers isn't a future she wished on anyone, though. She pauses.]

I never saw you as damned, Christina. But this isn't easy, you know? You need to be in control and because of that, you will have less freedoms than most girls of your age.

You didn't. No one here has. That's what gives me hope. Everyone in Point Pleasant knew I wasn't safe and that's what broke me. I just spent all this time so confused on what I was supposed to be.

[Then the shadow incident happened and she got a better grip on herself.

She nods slowly.] Yeah. I learned that when I nearly killed a girl with a disco ball for pissing me off.

It's never easy to be a teenager -- Add powers you don't know how to control and they complicate everything.

[She has had the advantage to really believe she was human and that dampened her powers until she found out she wasn't.]

I can teach you how to control it, but if you want to learn the first step is accept who you are. I don't mean it in the sense of Apocalyptic harbinger of doom, but in the 'I'm not human and I have less freedoms with my powers'. It gets easier once you have that clear.

I'd like that. [God, she can't handle all this support.] Thank you, Elaine. [Another pause and then...] I think I am learning, though. It's hard, but I'm getting there- figuring out who I am.

You're welcome, Christina. You're you. Whoever you decide is your decision.
