[Frau simply stares at the NV, a deep frown on his face. He waits for a brief moment eyes focused away from the NV as if he knows something is coming and needs to confirm it. When he hears the muffled slam of a door coming from the apartment down the hall, his attention returns to his recording. This is deja vu, and not the way that everyone else is feeling it. Well, it's that way too, but more importantly... this has happened to Frau before.]

It looks like this time I'm not the only one. How many of your are seeing the exact same things today as you did yesterday? Interactions between people are the same? Even if you say something different today than you did yesterday, you still get the same response?

Then what is a cor?

Explaining that is a rather long story, but in short...

Kor were created by Verloren, the fallen God of Death who has brought pain and suffering to the living. Kor trick people into fulfilling their dreams. It comes at a price though. Once one dream is fulfilled the kor gains hold over the soul. A person marked by a kor is never satisfied with anything. When two more wishes are granted the person loses their soul completely.

So.... getting your wish isn't really... good at all.

No. You're meant to achieve your wishes on your own, not with a kor's help. They pervert wishes.

What about wish-granters that aren't Kors?

[And there's....noticeably now, this growing unease about the subject.]

[Frau shrugs. He notices that unease, but there is very little he can do to help calm it.]

I don't know. Kor are the only ones I know of. I'm sure there are others out there that are a lot different from kor.

[He pauses and just watches for a moment before continuing in a softer voice.]

From what I know though, it's always better to achieve your own dreams. The path may be harder, but you grow as you walk down it.

I tried to take an easier road, because my friends were in trouble, and I didn't believe in myself.

....I've been thinking it was a big mistake, 'cause I've got no way out of the contract.

[Now Frau is the curious one. He's seen a lot of "contracts" and links between people. Many that are forced too. Though they couldn't be broken by normal means, Frau could destroy them without any trouble. That's what Zehel did.]

I made a contract, to have my wish to protect my friends. ImThe contract gives me power to fight witches.

I don't know if it would work in this case... but in my world I can break bonds, even those on someone's soul that can't be broken.

No. Most of the time I use it on those who are already dead. I do have another method I could try first though.
