Twelfth flight - video

[ Clark hasn't appeared on the network for a while now, but when he appears he's smiling, and rightly so, pushing his glasses up his nose. So awkward. ]

Wedding preparations are in full swing. I always knew it was going to be hard work, but I didn't realise just how much there was to do. It seems like there isn't enough time in the day any more. All the time I'm spending on the phone to florists and caterers, you'd think the phone company should be paying me.

It's stressful sometimes, hard to find time to shoehorn the romance in--and wasn't that the whole point in the first place? I don't suppose anyone has any tips? How do you make time for sleep, let alone your poor neglected fiancee?

I've just been keeping my head down. Things are a bit weird at work.

All the looks and charm? Pfft. Whatever, dude. I know where the charm is.

Should I start stalking him now? Or would that be a little gauche?

[ Clark just grins. ]

Can't say he couldn't do with good friends, and I've already vetted you.

Oh have you? Well.... Then I guess you'll just have to give me the guy's number and there will have to be lunch in our future or something. Seems appropriate since I've been vetted.

[ He grins, and why not, gives Jubilee Conner's number. ]

I hope you like dogs.

I adore puppies. There is, you realize, a hellhound in the house?

Oh? I don't think I've seen it.

[ Yeah. Seen it. The invisible dog. ]

Invisible dogs, Clark. I've only seen the hot pink that Loki magicked onto his.

[She wrinkles her nose.]

[ He just slow blinks at that, as though it's the bit about Loki and magic that confuses him. ]

How do you keep invisible dogs? Doesn't that sort of defeat the point?

Some people can see them. I am not one of the lucky. Or unlucky. Honestly, I'm not sure how it works, but whatever.

Shame you don't have X-ray vision, huh?

[Wrinkles her nose.]

Not really interested in seeing them. Wish you could?
