How so?
Science is how we understand the world.
If something can't be explained by science, we don't understand it.
If we don't understand something, it's fair to call it magic.
That doesn't mean magic is real. There's just no scientific explanation for those somethings yet. Hence the "nothing"

People used to think that weather was caused by the magic of the gods. But if you called it magic now, you'd be stupid.
