A question for all of those involved with magic in their respective worlds, how exactly does it work where you are from? Things always seem to work slightly differently in each new place, and of course there is always plenty of room for creative individuals to revolutionize its practice. If you would be so kind, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've come up with a few on my own here and there. I also enjoy a good scary tale, especially if told with some reactive people.

Essentially, though most scary stories tend to involve magic where I am from, as it sort of saturates a good portion of the world.

Turning people into different creatures, flying, shooting blasts of energy, a variety of other things.

If someone is turned into a different animal, does it hurt?

Not if its done with a spell, it can hurt if done with alchemic potions.

Do they ever retain their animal instincts when they're turned back into humans?

Usually not, but side effects can differ between different people.

Not really? We don't... really have magic stuff, back home. Unless you count aliens as magic?

If they could tap into mana, then yes. Otherwise no.
