[Long time no see, Siren's Port. Gilbert has been doing his best to keep off of the NV for the last few months for a multitude of different reasons, but today he has something to talk about.
Or rather, he has something to complain about.
The video turns on while the NV is still pointed at the ground, some section of the garden out in front of the Phantomhive estate, but it snaps up fairly quickly to reveal a very rain-soaked Gilbert Nightray. It's been raining a lot lately, so the sight in and of itself isn't horribly odd, but what is odd is that he looks furious about it.]
Who's doing this?! Whoever it is - cut it out already! This 'prank' is going too far!
[The camera then shifts upwards until it's pointed up over his head. A few raindrops fall onto the NV, obscuring the sight a little, but viewers will definitely see a small, gray raincloud perched over his head. Just. Hovering there. Raining on him. He takes a step to the side and it follows him faithfully.
Yes, the broodiest resident of Siren's Port now comes equipped with his own personal raincloud for the day thanks to one of his regular customers at the bakery. Though honestly, in a city full of pranksters, it's really very odd that Gilbert hasn't been pranked this badly before.]
It won't go away! It keeps following me inside! It ruined part of the carpet and I can't even clean it up! I can't smoke like this either, and...
[The camera moves back to his pissed expression.]
IT'S NOT FUNNY DAMN IT SO STOP!
[And with that he slams the NV shut. April Fools, indeed.]
[ooc - Action for Phancyhive people if they want to venture out to Gilbert's little Brooding Spot in the garden. Also I'm off for work so tags will come later today.]

...A raincoat would be nice. [Mutter grumble mutter.]
[ video ]
[ click ]
[ several moments later, Oz comes running out of the house in a yellow rubber ducky rain coat with cute little boots and holding out different raincoat and boots out for Gil. ]
Here you go! It's all I could find inside. [ there is no smirk on his face. just a bright, shiny smile! Can't he feel the love? ]
[ video ] 1/2
[ action ] 2/2
I'M NOT WEARING THAT! WHERE DID YOU EVEN FIND THAT?!
[ action ]
It's a frog. I thought you'd like it! [ Don't mind the whiskers. Just look at how cute it is! It's not as though he had picked it up specifically for Gil about a week ago or anything... ]
[ action ]
[A cat pretending to be a frog. This is definitely not okay! He stumbles backwards, splashing through the puddles being made from the little cloud overhead.]
[ action ]
Here, have mine then. [ holding it out, take it, take it! ]
[ action ]
[He steps forward, then realizes that he'll just be bringing the cloud closer to Oz and stops. His young master might be teasing him, but he also can't bear to see him so sad.]
No, I'll... [DEEP BREATH.]
I'll...I'll wear it...!
[ action ]
[ action ]
[He takes a quick step/hop backwards. As if to mirror his mood, the little rainclouds starts pouring down even worse.]
[ action ]
But it'll get mud on it if I do!
[ he steps forward, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight into a mud puddle! He's going to get wet anyway. Suck it up, Gilbert! ]
[ action ]
Oz! Cut it out! It's fine if you just leave it on the ground - you're going to track mud inside!
[...And then he runs directly into a tree.]
[ action ]
[ pft, he can't help but laugh ]
Gil, Gil, Gil... you should really watch where you're going! [ but while he's distracted... Oz just steps right up and slides that coat over Gil's shoulder, or as much as he can around the tree. Beside that, getting wet is fun! ]
[ action ]
As soon as the coat is around his shoulders and in his possession, however, he lifts it up and tucks it around Oz's head to try and cover him a bit, scowling down as his damp seaweed hair drips into his eyes.]
Are you satisfied now?
[ action ]
Much better. The kitten suits you!
[ action ]
Ah...hmph. [Don't look at the kitten, don't look at the kitten! He'll just pretend it's actually a frog! His arms wrap around himself to obscure the view of said kitten, and also to complete the pouty-little-kid look that he's giving right now.]
Get inside and dry off before you catch a cold.
[ action ]
[ Oz salutes and takes another step back ] Yes, Gil~ And once that cloud goes away, you should come inside and make us alllllllllllllll some hot chocolate. We'll hav fun! And I'll keep a blanket warmed by the fire just for you. [ or it could get on fire. Maybe. By accident.
Is Oz smirking? ]
[ action ]
I will. But don't worry about keeping anything warm, I'll be fine taking care of it later myself!
[ action ]
Are you sure? You might be too cold to move! [ it's an interesting theory. If Gil freezes to death, would he shatter if Oz tipped him over? ]
[ action ]
[Pathetic servant is even more pathetic when he's soaked through like a wet rat, young master.]
I promise I'll be fine!
[ action ]
... yeah. ]
Weak? Not at all! I'm just worried about the weather. [ pfft... ] I'll bring dinner out roughly at six!
[ and, opps! Oz is gone, or trying to be so. Gil only has a few minutes before Oz retreats back into the house. MUD AND ALL ]
[ action ]
Maybe he can climb up the side of the house and dump himself in one of the bathtubs if it comes to that.
Sob. He'll just flop down right here until then. That's better than protesting it and causing more trouble for both of them.]
...All right. Thank you.
[ re-action ]
Easy as pie. Isn't that what they say? ]
