Okay, let's out with it.

We all have this NV bug thing going around, right? Everyone's had weird messages come their way or suddenly found that they sent something terrible to somebody.

What's the worst, or most outrageous, inappropriate, or funniest message you've sent or gotten from this thing?

There's nothing I can do about that. At least this prank can make some people laugh.

I'm capable of laughter without inappropriate messages being sent to me or on my behalf.

Really, it was harmless.

Even without the potential for future abuse, I don't really agree.

Okay. If it hasn't done any damage to NVs, let out anything private, and everybody knows the messages aren't the person's fault, then.... what harm did it do? It was awkward sometimes, but that passes.

Perhaps only merely 'awkward' if a resolution is communicated in an efficient manner. In any case, I am of course glad that the spread of the current virus is dying down. But don't you think that it's embarrassing that such vulnerabilities in our system have been exploited?

Well, yeah. I certainly hope that someone else doesn't take advantage of it- but maybe this will motivate someone smarter than me to fix it?

I'm assuming you've already installed an anti-virus.

Then I strongly suggest you install one immediately. There's a possibility that you are still transmitting the virus.
