myselfexcluded: (But this isn't forever)

Hi! All excellent good questions, my dear. Shame there's not a whole lot available for the public right now, but I'll do what I can.

1. So far the only thing that determines a person's world is a connection to the Core, so as long as the Core touches your world, someone from that world can be pulled here. I've theorized that the stronger the connection to a world, the more people from that world are brought here.

As far as I know, life continues on in your world after your pulled, but if you happen to be pulled back to your own world, you will arrive back at the precise time you left, so there's no loss of time.

2. It's hard to get an exact count with the amount of people leaving changing all the time, but it's well over three hundred, at the least. You're in the middle of an arrival cycle right now, so the number's increasing all the time.

3. Just that they only come out when it's dark. It's hard to say if they're a product of the Core's radiation or if they're just something that appeared on this island.

4. No public data that's entirely reliable, but I can send you a summary of what I know to be fact.
