[It's Yosuke, Port. But you might not know it unless you recognize his voice, because he doesn't have the camera focused on himself for once. It's focused on a place that looks to have been a restaurant once, maybe. But it's trashed now. Busted windows, upturned tables, graffiti everywhere. The bar area has been looted, and it's obviously seen the darkness come inside not long after the vandals. There's even copious amounts of dried blood on the floors from something. It's probably not the only place in town this happened to, but it's the one Yosuke feels responsible for. This place? It used to be The Cat's Eye.]
Hey everyone. Uh. This is the Cat's Eye, so I'm sorry if anyone came by and we were closed. It's probably going to be a while. It's been like this since we got back to the future. Or maybe you'd call it the present, I guess this place isn't everyone's future.
[The camera gives a dizzying whirl, and it's facing him this time. Yosuke himself is fine, clearly no worse for the wear in any physical sense. But he doesn't waste time finding a perfect angle today. For once maybe it's not about catching his best light on camera.]
The Darkness proofing and the structural damage should be fixed first, I guess. So if anyone knows of cheap ways to do that, I'd really appreciate it.
[He goes to switch the video off, but stops. One more thing, actually.]
And I'm not really a book guy, but I've been thinking of taking it up. So tell me what your favorite types of books are. It's better to start with the best ones, right?
