[she feels foolish for being captured. Of course she is grateful for the rescue, but the fact that it was needed at all makes her realize just how much she's been neglecting training]

Now that we are back in the port, I wonder if there are any swordsmen willing to teach me their skills? I am a willing student and will learn quickly.

I have heard of this beverage called "coffee" but have never tried it. Would you like to accompany me as I do so?

[He glances around the place. It's Newcomer friendly so there's not going to be an issue with him showing his powers and they're sitting close enough to the station where the cream and sugar are...

So he holds up his hand and beckons them over. He might be showing off a little, and it's still way too weird to be able to use his powers in public like this. He still likes using good magic in front of her though, and he's in such a good mood from their conversation.

The sugar and cream float over neatly. This place is so Newcomer friendly that the couple of people who do look up go back to their work as soon as they know that the cream and sugar aren't going to explode.]

[she watches him, growing more and more relaxed the longer she's exposed to hs magic. Which was probably his intention from the start. His magic fascinates her, her eyes flickering from the cream and sugar to his face.

She reaches out a hand to take the sugar when it gets close enough. It feels the same despite its strange trip there]

Amazing... Was that a magic spell?

It was my power.

Every witch in my world has their power. My mother's is stopping time. My aunt Phoebe gets premonitions. Aunt Prue and I both have telekinesis.

Your family is very powerful. [she says it more in admiration than anything] Is it very difficult to master?

[charmedson]

It can be. It was easier for me because of my family.

But I'm nothing compared to my brother.

[towerlocked]

[she shakes her head, turning back to her hot chocolate as she tries to think of something even more powerful than Chris's magic]

You are enough for me, Chris.

[charmedson]

[Chris smiles at that, and looks down to hide some of his embarrassment. He doesn't really know what to say to that.]

Good. [He ends up settling with, a little awkward.]

[she smiled around her cup, sipping her hot chocolate. She's pleased that her awkward confessions turned out so well. That she can still be with him. She'd have to thank the girls later for their advice]

[charmedson]

What else did you want to do today? [He asks, because going for coffee doesn't seem like enough now.]

[towerlocked]

I admit I had no plans beyond coffee and telling you the truth of my feelings. [she smiled faintly] I'm sorry.

[charmedson]

That was a lot more than I think I could have managed on my own.

[towerlocked]

I am glad one of us had the strength for it. [her smile turns teasingly]

[charmedson]

I knew it would be you though. [he replies, smiling at her]

[towerlocked]

Oh? Do I seem so bold in the stories you know of me?

[charmedson]

Some of them.

I meant you though. You're braver than I am.

[towerlocked]

[she doesn't know what to say, so she drinks more. She's almost finished with her hot chocolate. The coffee she chooses not to touch again. Chris was right about it being strong]

[charmedson]

Why don't we just continue with a walk?

You're right that I orb around too much. I end up missing seeing the city.

[towerlocked]

[she dabs her lips with a napkin to get rid of lingering chocolate residue]

Now that I am warmed up, a walk sounds very nice.

[charmedson]

[He gives her a smile and then moves to toss away their cups. He also walks over the sugar and cream to put them away.

As much as he likes showing off his powers, he doesn't want to draw that much attention to himself.

Once they're ready to leave he offers his arm to her.]

[she is happy to take his arm, smiling at him brightly. The look she gives him is no different but maybe now that he knows, the affection in her eyes might be more obvious]

Any destination in mind?

[charmedson]

Mm. Something outside? I know it's still cold but I feel like I spend all of my time cooped up inside or underground.

[towerlocked]

That will not do at all. Come, let's get you some fresh air. [she smiles at him playfully then. Hey, if anyone knows how it feels to be cooped up inside, it's her]

[charmedson]

[He grins at her playfulness and follows her, planing to take full advantage of the daylight while they still had it.]
