[Xellos feels a little ruffled more so then usual. Someone just came back after dying. He doesn't have his usual cheerful voice on as not being able to access his powers is very annoying]

My goodness this is certainly a strange day. Does anyone know what is working today? I haven't been able to find anything useful at all.

Nothing is working at all! I've tried the curling iron, the blow dryer, and the steam iron, nothing is working! I can't go outside like this!

Are you going to work a miracle? Because now would be a really good time!

You could say I had an unintended vacation.

But seriously, I nee- I mean we could use their help right now. There's no electricity! And don't even ask about the spa treatment I had scheduled, that's probably cancelled now!

[He supposed he usually managed to have fun, but mostly he had some agenda to accomplish]

Oh, it was work related, but I always manage to have fun.

Well, considering the situation, I'm sure you could reschedule, at least if you had your treatment with the Uzushio.

[Sidetracked!]

Oh really? I hadn't thought about taking a business vacation.

[Not that she has enough money for that, she keeps spending all her profit. She always wanted her own violinist!]

Reschedule?? [You can hear her pout. She pretty much goes to Uzushio regularly now.] .. Would I get a discount?

[Now that they can't see the hellhounds, Phibrizzo has tripped over them twice today. His only consolation is that everyone else is missing their powers, too. He even had to take public transit to put up a notice that the Seyrunn Shop of Sorcery would be closed for the day.

Now that he's back, he decides there's one very important thing he should mention to Xellos once they're alone.]

I hired on a second assistant manager while you were away. You remember William T. Spears, right?

['Friend' is probably a bit of a stretch considering mazoku and positive feelings, but William is someone Phibrizzo willingly associates with.]

That's right. William is very organized and responsible and you can leave a lot of the paperwork to him and to Mr.Stone, now.

[A short but meaningful pause.]

William is also allowed to see the basement.

That's why Grell will not be allowed in any employees-only places other than William's office.

[He sincerely hoped Grell wouldn't apply for work there, in any case. As entertaining as it might be, Phibrizzo didn't want Grell inadvertently scaring away customers. He'd have to leave the actual hiring in Xellos' hands just in case.]

Mmmmm, noted.

[He was confident he would be able to handle himself against Grell should that happen]

Since he lives with William, he can use William's employee benefits for spa treatments, though.

[He suspects that will be enough to pacify Grell for the most part.]

That should help things along. It seems to work quite well with Miss Hattie.

[It was the benefit of a luxury spa, they did have excellent masseuers here]

I wonder what would happen if Hattie and Grell were in the same room together...

[He's envisioning chaos.]

It would probably be a lively exchange at the very least.

I wonder if we should host a special event and make sure to invite them both...

[It had potential to make for a lovely meal, and Sasuke's annoyance at dealing with it would be like the cherry on top.]

[Phibrizzo thinks for a moment.]

You know, I think that would be perfect for making Valentines' Day more bearable.

[They'd have to intervene before anything got too bad, but anything to reduce the concentration of the putrid taste of romance was a good thing.]
