Do they take monetary donations only, or do they deliver other donations, like food, clothing and the like as well? My intention is to aid both the people of the island and new arrivals alike.

Actually I'd be happy to. I've already asked a few people and garnered some interest in making various types of donations. After that we can load up a wagon and make deliveries in person. [ Or hire a courier service to help out- that was a lot of area to cover. ]
