004: [ video ]
[ he frowns into the camera ] This doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to let a fat man carrying a bag of toys into your house in the middle of the night after the sirens have gone off? Wouldn't that just ruin the darkness protection on your house?
Oh, and why do you call it Christmas? Can't it just be a winter festival?
[ because other then the creepy fat man in red and the constant badgering to spend his money, Christmas didn't really sound like a bad holiday. He liked gifts! He liked giving gifts. He just didn't see why this Christ fellow had be dragged into it as well. Honestly, it almost sounded like something straight out of a horror book, or will be by the time Oz is through dissecting it. ]

[Okay, that he's not entirely sure of. And it's clear that he has no idea as he stares uselessly into the camera.]
I think it's supposed to be a religious tradition?
video;
For a religious tradition, it still doesn't sound very nice. [ he shrugs ] It sounds more like an excuse to buy presents. [ or get them, and he's still has to wonder why children are supposed to be excited about a fat man breaking into the house. It makes no sense! ]
video;
[There's talk of goodwill towards men, but with so many displays and colorful advertisements everywhere it's difficult to really see that aspect of it. Especially when you're from a time when advertisements didn't even exist.]
Why are you so curious all of a sudden?
video;
No real reason. I just saw the decorations going up so I asked. Someone seemed to think I needed a stocking. [ which he didn't understand. He had plenty of stockings. He just preferred them on is feet. ],/small>
video;
[It takes him a second, too.]
Ah...actually, I already have one for you here.
video;
You have what?
[ was this the
not so elusiveever so elusive sentimental Gilbert? Unpossible! ]video;
We've done it every year! Like I said, it's tradition here so...

video;
video;
No but - it's just something that people do!
video;
/sparkles! ] Oh, so does that mean we'll have a tree? [ he's read all about the trees. ]
video;
If that's what you want. We can all decorate it together.
video;
And well put it in the great hall. A fifteen foot tree. That's the best, Gilbert! [ :D isn't Gil just ecstatic about agreeing to decorate a tree that big? ]
video;
[Okay, suddenly not so excited anymore?!]
How are we supposed to reach the top of it?! Or even get it in the house to begin with?!
video;
You can make it happen, Gil. I have faith in you!
video;
[But he and Oz both know that in truth, he has.]
video;
But, you said we could have a tree...
video;
[Don't use that voice on him, he can't handle it.]
video;
Oh, well... I suppose that would work better, right Gilbert? [ and not to mention, they probably don't have enough decorations as it is. ]
video;
You've changed your mind that easily? [OR IS THIS A TRICK.]
video;
video;
[Make him work for it!]
video;
Aren't you busy enough already? [ because, you know, he doesn't want to make Gil work any harder for it or anything. n o p e ]
video;
[But the Christmas season, as he's learned, can be a beautiful thing. At least, to someone like Oz it would be beautiful.]
I'll get the biggest one that I can manage.
video;
You're gonna get a thirty foot tree?! Gil, you're the best! [ now be glad Gil caved. ]
