[The feed crackles on in the Darkness, the usual growls and other eerie noises of night at Siren's Port conspicuously absent in the area. It takes a moment for Castiel's image to become clear on the screen, almost melding out of the dark, expression smoothly neutral except for the faint hint of a smirk that looks completely out of place on his usually serious face.

His eyes are dark in the dim lighting, endless and like staring into an abyss, and even across the electronic feed the sense of wrongness is readily apparent.]

So I find myself here once more.

[His voice is soft, calm, almost uncaring, as if showing up in the Port again is a curiosity and nothing more. Then he smiles.]

It seems a good place to begin.

[Because this is obviously the smartest thing in the world to do. He remembered hearing about this the last time he was around. Castiel has gone and swallowed up Purgatory and all of the beasties God locked away, he killed Raphael while hopped up on soul juice. It means that he can be killed as well but it's certainly not stopping him from having a conversation.]

It looks as though someone has been meddling in things that ought not have been meddled with. [Hiding? No he's not hiding. Why would he do that?]

[Glad you are feeling brave bro, cause little brother? Just found out about the Leviathans and some how he still doesn't know that this is what killed him, or that he died at all.

Still he's rattled enough, given he's already been injured once, to go straight to the only place that he feels is completely safe.

So wherever Michael it, Raphael flies to him, literally crashing into his back, sword clutched tightly in his hand, though tucked to avoid either one of them.

He's not leaving and you can't make him.]

[Please pardon that brief delay. He may or may not have forgotten to turn off the feed before flying straight to Michael, which means between the static there is a good shot of him landing on the Eldest, smacking into his back, the flash of light off a blade, before the feed cuts.

What does it say, that when he's terrified enough to let some emotion slip through, that he runs literally headlong to his brother?

Or that when the feed comes back on, Michael's left shoulder visible in the corner of the frame and Raphael is composed looking more like marble than ever, save no statue would ever be carved with a jaw drawn that tight.]

What did he do?

[Where is he going? Inside Michael if he has his way.

When he does answer, it's several minutes later, and Raphael is looking nearly as calm as ever, save how very tight his jaw is.

We all do.

[He knew, but it was something he opted not to tell Raphael before he left. It was hard enough knowing that one of his closer siblings had died back home, and that was just Gabriel who he hadn't seen in the longest time. Raphael had been much closer, Michael's pillar when he had no where else to turn.

There's not even a flinch when he feels Raphael slam into him, not even a moment where he was momentarily unbalanced due to the action.

Honestly it's not as if he'd made Raphael leave.]

Raphael. It seems as though the world is getting rather crowded with all of these creatures arriving.

[He's glad he didn't know before Michael left. He had a bleak enough view on the future as it is.

As soon as Raphael rights himself, he stays tucked in close, huddled almost, against him.

He's not really getting a choice in the matter.]

Rather crowded is an understatement.

[He doesn't put his sword away, keeping his fingers wrapped tight.]

Have any ideas as what we can do about then?

[How could he possibly tell the sibling that stood by him all this time that he dies?

There's no sign of Michael reaching for his weapon, no indication that he has any intention of pulling it out in self-defense should Castiel come for him.]

We do nothing but stay out of his way. Castiel will die in time. [There's a reason the Leviathan are locked away in Purgatory.]

Let's say you are God and not delusional. [ Harry's an agnostic anyways. ] You're an asshole. Get your angels off my back.

"Begin" better not mean you're about to go all Last Judgment on us. That's just rude.

[No easier than Raphael would have been able to tell Michael about the Cage.

Michael's calm steady presence is what Raphael needs, though he doesn't put his own away. Crowley's remark hit a little deeper than he's willing to admit.]

And the Leviathan?

[Seeing as how he already knows about it they won't have to have that conversation.

He'd gotten along, well Michael couldn't say great with Castiel during their time here, but it was certainly better than it was back home. They hadn't fought at least. So he wasn't exactly afraid of Castiel, even when he's got the power to kill an archangel.]

They have no quarrel with us. So long as we don't interfere they have no reason to seek us out.

[He's grateful. Even if he wants to go after Sam since he got back. Thus far, he hadn't and then Michael returned and Raphael had kept his distance.

Castiel and Raphael however, had not gotten along, so Raphael has reason to worry.]

As small as this place is, with everyone it contains, will that be possible?

[Come now, Michael called for peace, didn't he? Or at least a truce.

It's not as though big brother will leave Raphael to fend for himself against Godstiel. He shrugs.]

No way of telling. [Doesn't have the answers. The Leviathan are even older than he is and they were tucked away before he ever existed so there's not much he knows about them.]

[That was why he hadn't. That was the only reason.

He knows Michael wouldn't - but he also wouldn't put Michael at risk either.]

Is there anyway to ward a place against them?

[He doesn't expect Michael to have the answers, but he hopes.]

[Yet he couldn't help himself from harassing Castiel. Seems the little angel just can't keep out of trouble with the big boys.

Welp, too bad because he has no intention of standing by.]

No idea. I've never been face-to-face with one before.

[Never had to fight one, talk to one, been anywhere near one and never really asked about them either. God had sent them away and so there was no reason to ask questions.]

[HEY. Castiel started it. ~~And Raphael is in no way still angry about the Holy Fire thing and so looking for an excuse. Nope.~~

Of course he's not.]

I never thought we would be.

[Raphael hadn't seen a reason either.]

[Suuuure that's right. ~~Of course not.~~]

Neither did I. I believed they'd stay locked away until the end of time.

[Would he attempt to lie to you? ~~Nope never. He's the picture of maturity.~~]

Any idea what's going to happen when they do kill him?

[Yes. On very very very rare occasions. ~~Right, like he believes that.~~]

All I know is that it won't be anything good. Father didn't let them stay around for a reason.

[Touche. ~~So long as they're on the same page.~~]

And we are stuck in a jam jar with them.

[Yeeeeeeeeeah, clutching that sword a little tighter.]

[ There's a terse pause. ]

... I guess it depends what you're going to do.

I'm going to do what my Father wouldn't.

[He doesn't mind explaining, though his version of explaining is anything but.]
