[Hello people, it's Castiel; it might not be all that tough to tell by the creepy intense staring, despite the change of body. She doesn't seem bothered by this whole thing in the slightest, for reasons about to become clear.]

It seems this change of physical appearance is greatly distressing for many. I don't understand. It is likely only temporary, and what is of such great import of the sex of the body you possess?

It is natural for humans to be attracted to one another. As my vessel is now female and that is your preference, it is little surprise for you to find this body appealing.

That applies only to people raised together within the first few years of life. I thought that close emotional attachment made attraction stronger, not weaker.

It kind of goes either way. Either it can bring out feelings that were under the surface, or the two people get so used to each other that the idea of being attracted to them is just gross, like being attracted to your sister.

Oh. I suppose that makes sense.

[And then he actually does know there are cultural factors at play as well, because angels have something similar in this regard where even those who have barely met wouldn't be attracted to each other simply because they're siblings, even if it's just a designation.]

Regardless, attraction itself is harmless, and surely this will not last long.
