[Ulquiorra had not been able to fulfill Aizen's order to look after Las Noches. This will not undo his ultimate defeat, nor does he entertain that delusion. Efficiency is the ultimate principle that ought to be followed in order to fuel ambition—what has failed ought to be discarded.

In context of Kurosaki's news of Aizen's defeat however, the framework has become something else entirely. Loyalty to what ultimately has succumbed to trash is wasted.

But in the end, it is exceedingly simple. Whatever Aizen has commanded, Ulquiorra will honor without question because that is the choice he has made unthinkingly. The absence of a honorific to accompany Ichimaru's name is an unusual observation to note, but one that goes unquestioned for the time being. ]

[It occurs to Nelliel that she should teach Ulquiorra how to use some of the human technology the rest of them have become accustomed to. He's observant and can probably learn most things through observation. The entertainment system in the living room will probably require a short demonstration, though.]
