[ Hello, world. Meet new arrival, Sam Winchester. But you might not know that it's him, because he's not showing his face yet, and: ]

This is Agent Murdock. [ He clears his throat, pausing a moment. ] If anyone's out there, and can hear me, or needs help... just let me know. I'm sort of at a loss, here, and I'd like some information. If this thing is even working, that is.

[ He's confident in his tech abilities, but something's definitely up with his phone. ]

[The voice is familiar but if it Sam then it only stands to reason that Michael wouldn't have sensed his arrival. Enochian sigils and all. He doesn't respond as Michael but as Mary's friend "Mikaela". Chances are Sam hasn't been told the list of who's here yet.]

[ Sam, of course, doesn't recognize Michael. Even if it had been the angel in his father's younger body, he still wouldn't have given it a second thought. So, the woman on the feed just intrigues him, and not much else. ]

Canada? You're kidding.

[Until Michael knows what Sam remembers last it's just safer to appear like this. Mary and Dean were upset when he showed up, John shot him...there's no telling how Sam will react. He can always troll the moose later as himself.]

Nope, wish I was. I'm Mikaela. Didn't you stick around to listen to the greeters out on the field?

[ Moose will not be amused, if and when that happens.

Sam doesn't answer the question about the greeters, shifting a bit where he's standing. ]

Nice to meet you, Mikaela. Have you been here long?

[Just wait until Lucifer starts trolling. Sometimes they team up because they are getting along better here.

Knowing Sam he probably didn't believe them.]

A skeptic then. We get those a lot. Almost ten months.

[ Sam's only met Lucifer the one time, and not here, yet. So, he'll be glad to stay as far as possible from the archangel. ]

I've heard weirder, believe it or not. [ Unfortunately, he's been spirited away to other places, and has dealt in alternate dimensions. Perks of the job, or... whatever it would count as. ]

That's-- wow. [ A long time. ] Is that... normal?

[Maybe this Sam won't fall for the Jessifer in that case. Because that's how Lucifer trolls Sam.]

I don't doubt it with everything I've seen here. [Three archangels - trapped in a world with God. "Believing" that Sam has seen weirder isn't really an issue.]

It's not unusual. Sometimes people stay for years and sometimes they don't last a month and everything in between.

[ He won't fall for it, but he'll still hurt from it. ]

What changes who stays, and who goes? [ Ah, what's that he's heard, about the... ] The Core?

Pretty much. It plays the Hand of Fate, as it were.

[ Unfortunately. ]

Hm. [ So, there's apparently research to be done. ] Anything else I should know?

[There's a lot of heartache to come when Sam's reunited with his family.]

The Core also has been known to give away abilities to those who didn't have them before. So you may find yourself doing something like setting the room on fire if you aren't careful. [Couldn't resist a little trollolling.]

[ Ouch. The fire comment almost makes him wince visibly. ]

... Well, that's... something. Good to know, anyway.

[Even though Michael can't see him the angel knows there was a response.]

That's just one example of what kind of ability you can get. Then there are the Voids. I suspect it's the local's way of handling us as it sucks away the ability to use any sort of powers. So be careful of that.

It does? [ That's encouraging. He breaths a little sigh of relief, thinking immediately of Lucifer. ] And, the Voids-- where are they, exactly?

Yep. [Don't you worry about his brother, Sam. He doesn't want you anymore. And Michael keeps him occupied most of the time.] They work for SERO but the companies aren't something most people want to get involved with.

[ Well, thank goodness for that. ]

SERO. [ That's not something he's really heard explained, yet. ] ... Good to know, I guess.
