Sixteenth Frost -- (Video)
[Hey, Siren’s Port. Look who’s back. Hitsugaya doesn’t look much different, save for the new haircut and the scarf he’s got on with his captain’s uniform. You might not assume he’s been gone for more than a few days in his world. Though that assumption would be wrong.
[He waves his free hand dismissively to someone off screen, speaking to them dispassionately.] Unnecessary. I’ve been here before; I know how things work. Talk to someone who needs it.
[That being said, he addresses the network directly.] The time loop has been corrected, I hope?
For those that know me, I’m fine. And I do remember this place.
[[OOC: Forward-dated to about 8:30AM of the 7th – which lo and behold is actually the 7th! Here’s the tiny taichou, gone since what should have been Saturday, all nicely canon-updated for you.]]

Reality isn't contingent on being exciting.
Video DID HE GROW....
It's pretty exciting to get stuck in a timeloop! You're just making it sound boring.
Video (Nope, not even an inch. The spiffy haircut and scarf are all he's got.)
Having a repeating day wasn't exciting. It was annoying.
Video (Poor boo :C ONE DAY...)
It was totally exciting! It's extra time to try out new things, try to figure out what happened, explore alternate timelines and stuff!
... But you went home anyway, didn't you?
Video (One day far, far into the future.)
Video (forever a midget)
You didn't want to leave?
Video (Hey, he'll make average height one of these days. Maybe.)
No one has control over whether they're sent back or not. Or if they get brought back later.
Video (He'll at least out-grow her...)
How long did you go back for?
Video (Clearing five feet is his primary goal.)
Almost a year and a half.
Video (Same thing, man.)
Wow, that long?
Video (She's closer to it than he is.)
To shinigami, a year and a half really isn't all that long. [A little moreso when you've yet to mark your first century, but still.]
Video (True...)
You must be really old, then...
Video (She needs what? A couple inches? He needs NINE.)
You were at the party for my birthday here. I turned sixty-nine. [Which is kinda . . . way young for shinigami. And previously unheard of for someone of his rank. Especially considering he wasn't yet fifty when he was promoted.]
Video (Poor Hitsugaya)
Is it really? That's so cool! Tell me about it! Tell me about it!
Video (But he WILL get there, damn it! Because he says so.)
What specifically? [Because where does he even start? You're asking him to be wordy. He doesn't do that.]
Video (Good luck with that, man.)
Is it like feudal Japan? Are there bushido and samurai and all that? Come on, spill!
Video
Shinigami are essentially spirit samurai. [Gosh, Hitsugaya, don't say this; it's going to get her even more excited.] Though that rigid code of conduct is really only taken to extremes among the nobility.
Video
What do you mean?
Video
Video
Video
But the shinigami as a whole aren't nobility. Not all of us ahere to all of its tenets. [He has his own code of behaviour, thank you.]
Video
So you're a renegade? What's your code?[Nose nose nose]
Video
[He wants to facepalm here. But he's way too mature for that now, so he just linefaces.] I'm not a renegade.
