[ Despite looking far worse than she did the last time she appeared over the network, Integra looks, at the least, determined. She's sitting up in a chair this time around, not in bed, and she's dressed in her suit -- it's somewhat wrinkled, mind you, considering it took her every ounce of energy she had to get the stupid thing on.

With a shaky hand, the young heiress lifts a teacup from her nightstand; a dead give away that she's quarantined herself to her room, still. Using her other hand to steady it, she takes a small sip to wet her throat before speaking.

Her voice is gravely and hoarse, it's obvious she's having a hard time speaking. ]

I am in need of someone who can draw up a last will. If I am to die in this bloody place, I'm going to be legal. I don't have many things, I can assure you... so it will be quite simple. This is, naturally, assuming I die.

[ Because she sure as shit feels like it. ]

I don't want to do anything in person, naturally, I wouldn't want to infect anyone else. So if anyone knows of a good attorney or someone along those lines, if they would so kindly direct them my way... thank you.

Oh. Integral. [He tips his head and just looks at her, half amused, half appraising.] Liar. You forget, I am your father's servant; even in his strength and pride, even in Arthur's brash whoring drunkenness, there was guilt. Things he ought to have done, things he ought not to have done.

Only a sociopath would have no regrets. I think that is why your grandfather is so healthy.

[ For a brief moment, she looks as though she might attempt to shrink back into the chair. Of course Alucard would have to pick up on it, just her luck. ] Yes, well... [ ...the man hadn't exactly died in peace, nor with peace of mind. He'd had so little time to prepare her for what was to come, perhaps this was how he'd felt. ] I can't talk about it.

[ She frowns. ] You're right. I don't have any idea, I have only been able to truly speak to him once or twice since I have been here.

You and Walter raised me to be silent about such matters. Why would I want to dump my problems onto someone else? It's ridiculous.

No. [ She blinks, because duh. Well, at least WALTER was never wrong, in her eyes. Alucard came in a very close second. ]

Yes, and I have done what needs to be done. Therefore, I have nothing to feel guilty about. [ That last bit has her lips stretching into a somewhat dark smile. She doesn't comment on it, though. ]

...What do you mean? [ She frowns, watching him tiredly. ]

Do I? Enlighten me. Even if I'm gone, you seem to forget that my grandfather is not. You won't be able to be naughty.

Between my grandfather and Walter, I think you'd have a better mindset than to do something as foolish as that. I have read of my grandfather's forms of punishment, I would highly advise you don't do anything stupid, Alucard.

Avoid the whole mess by simply ridding yourself of guilt, Integral. Your responsibilities are broader than yourself and your pride, they extend to me, to Walter, to the Police Girl. That is more important.

[integra_hellsing]

I know what my responsibilities are, Alucard. [ That's the whole problem. ] If I were to tell you what is on my mind, would I be able to trust you to keep your mouth shut and not utter a word of it out to anyone?
