13 | video | and a time to
[ The video today shows Helen a little more relaxed than she has been lately, although if you look close enough (which you may need to - the video isn't close on her) you may see a few cuts that her hair isn't quite hiding.
Helen's sat on her couch, her new couch in her new apartment, with one of her kittens (Liliane) curled up on her (the other she's keeping a watchful eye on every so often) ]
Change is often associated with specific dates, it never means that it's when you exclusively need to do something but it always does inspire it. New Years and the resolutions that come with it, for one; the wish to change something, or several somethings - either begin or end something in your life.
The start of spring is another - spring cleaning. 'Out with the old and in with the new', although it's horribly cliched, but the thought surrounding it should always be there. February twelfth is also known as bad decision day, although I don't remember hearing much of a mention on those, although perhaps any that were made you were wise enough in keeping from the network.
Although I have been asked before as to why certain dates, even months have specific things attached to them. Today is World Tuberculosis Day, in that awareness is raised for it rather than it being the day for it. For everything that we're made aware of it shouldn't only be on that day, it should be remembered and known every day.
Mr Hummel has been doing a wonderful thing here, bringing light and awareness to issues that many of us could face. There are many of us here, and far too much that we are unaware of. I don't meant to say that we should share our deepest secrets but knowing enough about another, caring of someone? No one here should be alone, or feel it.
[ The feed shuts off after a moment before it comes back on under a minute later. When it returns Helen looks a little more sombre, and a little disturbed. What she'd done in that brief time was send a short text to those that she was close to, informing them of her new address. It had been the original point of her post but she'd become sidetracked, instead informing those that needed to know by message instead.
The reason for her change in demeanour? One of those texts came back to her ]
Sadly not all changes are so welcome. [ This seems familiar to not so long ago ] Claire Bennet is no longer in Siren's Port.
