Hello, hello. Well, obviously it's been Christmas decorating time for a while, now, and I've been doing my share. The main Christmas tree is my favorite yet, I think. I'm not done putting stuff on it... It's covered in strawberries and butterflies, though, and streamers, and the tree topper is koalas! It's not very traditional, this year, but that's because I took all of the angel decorations and put them in Sebastian's room. I thought they suited each other better. Ahhh, I need help with the rest of the house, though, so someone had better volunteer...

Anyway, show me your trees, too, will you? It doesn't matter what you consider the Christmas spirit to be, you've got to get into it. Sure, it's a little gaudy, but once a year isn't so bad, is it? And speaking of which, we'll be having a Christmas party soon, in just a few days. From what I know, Ciel would like to see such faces as Doctor Yumeno's and Miss Amy Sorel's, and I'm hoping my Lady Alouette will drop by, Yosuke too, and - [He laughs.] One Mister Crowley is welcome, also. And I know Ahiru wanted people over, probably just about everyone who loves her, which I'm sure will be enough to eat us out of house and home, for at least a little while. I look forward to Gil's exhausted face. Anyway! Obviously, if you work for Funtom, you're invited too. Oh, this is ridiculous, I don't know why everyone just doesn't come over, I don't think it'd make any difference. We'll have music and wine and maybe ice skating, I think I want ice skating. What do you think?

Well, then I shall explain! You see, the spirit of Christmas is.. Well.. It is basically spreading cheer, and joy, and giving.

One could argue that it is something that should be done daily, but.. Well, that would get absurdly expensive.

[A heartbeat pause, as she thinks about what she's heard.]

Because of all the presents?

That is exactly correct! Though technically it would be emotionally taxing as well, I have seen plenty of fights break out during the season as well due to demand heavily outweighing supply.

We do not have to worry about the second part at our age, though. Forgive me for asking, but does this mean that neither you or your family have plans for the upcoming holiday?

Oh... [Her face is set into a frown as she tries to imagine it. People getting hurt? While trying to buy gifts? It doesn't seem right, somehow.

Her eyes refocus on the question, though.]

[Alouette could certainly relate to Katniss there, but her opinions have been changing lately on numerous things upon reaching the port.]

[If Recette heard that, she'd probably pop and insist something be done! That silly girl. Well.. Maybe there is something she could do.]

Well then I have a favor to ask. I am actually planning to assemble an even larger race track than before, and I could use a few helping hands. If you could ask Katniss if I may come over for everyone's assistance, on the twenty fifth specifically, I would be quite grateful.

[Her smile brightens immediately.] I'll ask.

[She's thankful. The idea of doing something special for the holidays - something that won't let anyone get hurt - excites her immensely.]
