- According to promotional fliers for almost every purveyor of Afterglow Erotic Video, Today is officially recognized Masturbation Day ...and AGI is not letting anyone forget it, apparently. Fliers, spam ads to your NV, and Sector 1 billboards proudly declare it, and plenty of shops are offering discounted ways to keep your self-love pleasurable! A popular morning talk radio show is offering a call-in contest for the best live-on-the-air new euphemism.
- Deliberations in the trial of Newcomer Warren Wolfson, accused of the murder of notable Siren's Port socialite Azalea "Leah" Keelson, will begin tomorrow at 10:00 at the city courthouse.
On February 9th, Keelson, the daughter of Underground Mall owner and neutral powerhouse Astrid Keelson, was found brutally murdered and mutilated in a storage closet at the Underground Mall. Wolfson, a former boyfriend of Leah's, was arrested for the murder the next morning with what police say is "rock solid" evidence.
The facts of the murder were made complicated by the fact that Wolfson is not human but is in fact a "half-wolf," by his own admission. What role Wolfson's species will play in the trial has yet to be seen. The details of the case raised an uproar from anti-Newcomer groups, who called the murder of a Port native by a Newcomer "barbaric and representative of all of them."
"I'm confident there is more to this case than meets the eye... there's the stench of something underneath the overwhelming scent of the evidence. Once we root out the source, we'll know the truth," said Prosecutor Diego Armando, who will be representing the city in tomorrow's case.
On the other side of the courtroom, defending Wolfson, will be another familiar face in the city's legal circles. Former prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, who once worked side-by-side with Armando on last summer's landmark case against AGI, has switched sides and will be working as Wolfson's defense attorney.
"My client is a victim of circumstance and nothing more, as the evidence will show tomorrow. It is my sincere hope that, with this trial concluded, the search for the true murderer will continue - and that this time, the police will find the culprit rather than a convenient scapegoat," said Edgeworth when contacted for an interview.
The public is welcome to watch the trial, but due to the controversial nature of the case, all in the gallery must be on their best behavior or be thrown out.

Re: Miles Edgeworth, defense attorney
[Rest assured...He may be in attendance. His only disappointment that it was not himself in the role of prosecutor, where he'd be certain to get that baying wolf a one-way ticket to the pound. A guilty verdict, in other words.]
