[ This bright Sunday morning finds Gilbert Nightray sitting behind the wheel of a black jaguar convertible. ]

I'm realizing that I've been a rut, lately. All I do is look after my young master, fret about things uselessly, and work.

So I thought I'd go for a drive, reacquaint myself with the city. Would anyone care to join me? You could point out some things that I've been taking for granted.

I'd be happy to exchange a lift in exchange for a bit of tour guiding, what do you say?

You allow me to borrow this car for today only, and I return it undamaged. And, in return, I'll teach - er, try to teach - Mister Gilbert how to drive.

Because, I think you'll admit, it might be useful to have more than one person in your household who knows how.

It may be useful, but I highly doubt Gilbert would allow you to teach him how to drive after such a display, let alone could I allow such education with good conscience.

I believe Gilbert to be capable. You on the other hand, have just proven to be untrustworthy, if not utterly impulsive.
